The activities of DBX Kurdistan finished

With the participation of 320 international companies and 500 businessmen and economists the IACCI has successfully finished DBX Kurdistan Trade Show and Conference.

Mr. Raad Ommar, IACCI executive manager, said that DBX visitors' number has reached 95,000 attendees. The show has witnessed singing many deals and transactions; he also added that the expo was a real chance for cooperation among different companies particularly the Iraqi companies. He also referred to the new plans and projects that should be prepared in order to ensure the success of the next coming expo. He then explained the reasons behind the inability of the Iraqi industrial sector to compete with its foreign counterparts. Some solutions were suggested to be taken in order to reach a kind of equilibrium. Furthermore he praised the support Kurdistan Regional Government gave to the expo and the idea of having a new zone for free trade in Kurdistan.

In another interview with Mr. Faris Al-Musleh, I-ACCI Jordan branch manager, he said that the branch will provide new services for members including goods storage, clearance, shipping, documents' certification and holding outward conferences and expos.

Contracts signed
The Iraqi-Lebanese Man Company has singed an agreement of 400 million dollars for building bridges. Mr. Jack Al-Bustani, the agent of Man Company said: "This project is unique in his type and it's regarded as one of the most important commercial centers in the Middle East". "The project covers 1000.000 square meters and includes 6000 trade shop" he elaborated.
